Bumpy was founded out of personal experiences of infertility and a profound understanding of the impact the fertility journey can have on your performance and wellbeing at work.
Bumpy is a fertility support platform that helps employers improve mental health and wellbeing amongst their workforce. We offer access to fertility coaches at your fingertips, help finding fertility clinics with user reviews, a knowledge base and a support community to help navigating fertility issues. We also have a customised employer portal and a variety of educational resources to help managers support employees going through infertility.
Why is it important?
Infertility is an important and increasing health issue and due to stigma attached and the sensitivity regarding reproductive health it has not been a focus for employers. This has led to most people going through fertility struggles alone and in silence.
Millennials, the largest part of the workforce, are facing a fertility crisis and 90% of those experiencing infertility suffer from stress, anxiety and depression which has a drastic negative impact on their work. Ignoring fertility issues in the workplace not only lowers productivity and engagement, it also has an impact on absence from work and retention.
